Mother's Day 2011

My day has been blessed, my girls have been amazing, and I am happy.  I love my beautiful PINK flowers and my delicious smelling Nordstrom's candle.  They know how to make their mommy smile!  I love you Jessica and Julianne with all of my heart and soul.

Facebook Fail

This is going to sound so childish..... My college bound daughter did a grown up thing today and deleted her Facebook account for the time being because she is sick of the whole end of high school drama.  I am proud of her, but here's the thing.... This was one of my connections to her life (I can't even believe I just said that).  Now we can actually TALK to each other instead of posting random thoughts and other stuff, but I will miss seeing her show up on my news feed from time to time, I will miss her posts just to say I love you, and I will just missing having her as my friend.

Yeah, I know, it looks like I need to stop the drama and grow up.... LOL

Twist of Dazzle

A few weeks ago I won a giveaway over at A Bowl Full of Lemons.  I won a handmade cross from Twist of Dazzle.  I am so happy with what they came up with, I can't wait to display it!  Here it is:

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Me!  I woke up to a new Pandora charm and perfume from my hubby and my girls.  My kiddos made me cards at school and my wonderful first grade team had a cake and goodies ($75 worth) for me after school.

My day was blessed <3

Something To Live By

If you have ever fell victim to another woman's mean spirit, I give you this promise:

You have been hurt by women. I could see the pain in your eyes… And I’ve never done this before but… I feel prompted to make you a promise of friendship.”
I promise I will never speak an unkind word to or about you. I will never be jealous of you. I will never compete with you. I will never abandon or betray you. I will love you. I will pray for you. I will do all I can to help you go far and wide in the Kingdom.
I will accept you as you are, always. I will be loyal to you. Before our loving God of grace, you have my words and my heart in friendship for this life and forever with Him.”

Embrace the spirit of forgiveness and allow new people into your life, there is a positive space just waiting to be filled.
